I spotted the coolest Hello Kitty mobile phone in the 2009 Christmas Gifts catalogue from Argos yesterday. But looking for it today it’s NOWHERE to be seen online.
The new phone is based on this clam shell
It’s based on the Sony Ericsson Z320i. Very rarely can you not find something you’re looking for online. I’ve searched Argos’s website inside out for it but it’s just not there. I searched Sony Ericsson’s site and it’ not there either

Just for the record this isn’t the touchscreen Hello Kitty phone here. Although would love one of those!!!

UPDATE – 3/11/08:
I’ve scanned in the page. This phone has Bluettoth, MP3, 1.3megapixel camera and video capture. Costs £39.99. I’ve also contacted Argos today. Will update you all if i get a response!!

I’ve received a response from Argos customer support. Here’s a quote from the email:
“I can confirm that we do sell this Sony Ericsson Z320I but at the moment it is out of stock.”
So there you have it straight from the horses mouth. It does exist! Looks like we’ll need to keep a vigil on the website!

I’ve been looking for it as well. Can’t find it anywhere. It’s in the Argos christmas brouchure but not in Argos on-line. why not I wonder?
My daughter has spotted this also in Argos and asked for it. Argos say they wont have anymore in (doubt they had any in the 1st place)Have also looked everywhere on the internet and cant find it.

This is a mystery! It seems strange that a product can make it into a brochure and then not appear anywhere else. Please keep me posted if you managed to get it!!
I’ve been looking for this phone too with no luck, the only place it seems to be is in the argos gift catalogue 2009, I can’t even find it in the main autumn/winter 2009 Argos catalogue! Does the phone even exist?
I asked the girl at the counter to check in every store in ireland and it is non exixtant. it also is £39.99 not £99.99.
Perhaps it is only available from December!!

yeh i luked and it 99.99 in xmas catolgue for argos but 39.99 when u type it in…. i really want one too but they said it out of stock everywhere

my daughter saw this and asked for it for her birthday in 10 days time. Went into Argos and they checked every store in the uk and told they have none, looks like she will not be getting it.
That doesn’t make sense though. I too am looking for this oddity of a phone but there is no info ANYWHERE, its possible its not released yet but I think Argos may be getting confused with their email and its true they do sell this sony ericsson, but not with hello kitty on it.
SEND THAT PHOTO TO ARGOS THAT YOU SCANNED, LOL I CHECK THE WEBSITE EVERY/MOST DAYS.

i to have been looking for this phone for a few weeks now but every time i go into argos they say it is sold out would like to know if anyone has bought one. went into store today and girl behind till said if its not in book then they prob wont get anymore in stock said prob been old stock but i have never seen this phone befor and want one for my niece for christmas so will still keep trying.
Im currently trying to track one down too, Argos website doesnt recognise them at all, and we have it in the catalogue in front of us, so frustrating!! Going to email Argos!
Gotta love the responce this is getting, my mums birthday came and went, got her an Iron maiden DVD instead lol not quite the same thing! Ill keep checking in on the progress of this anyway, and keep us posted suppose I could always get it for christmas!

I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get one of these, they didn’t even have it in stock the same day the christmas brouchure was out in the shops. It has never been in stock.

My mum saw it in argos catalogue and wanted to get it but asked me first so she is trying to get it for me tomorow. i will tell you if i get it. By the way they say it has sold out but no one seems to have one? Hmmmm lol

i have be looking for this moblie phone for a long time. i am all ways going into argos to ask if they have had it in but they just say no but we are having some prombles getting this moblie phone from the manufactors how make it. i just love the look of it and when i first saw it i thought i just got to have this monlie phone. And it is just £39.99 i can’t believe it is now that much. i think if they do not have the mooblie phone in they sudden get one like it or they sudden push the manufactor to get it things right before putting them in the Argos Catalogue. i will tell you if they are in the shop.

The Z320i is about a year old. It has replaceable covers called style up covers. I thought I’d look for hello kitty covers, but so far no luck
This phone is going to be very difficult to source with this particular cover I believe.
i think if they do not have sony ericsson z320i the hello kitty they should get one like it with:-
Megapixel camera
MP3 player
Bluetooth®
MicroSD card slot
Record and playback video clips
internal memory.

can’t believe I’m not the only one trying to get this elusive phone!! have even gone into an Orange phone shop as advirtsed as being on their service but no luck.
Checked in Argos again ,tday- still a mystery to them!
We need to take action…is it not illegal to advertise a product that is non-existant??

I have an update! It’s both positive and negative.
Went into the Argos in Norwich on St Stephens Street. Looked in their NEW Christmas catalogue… lo and behold there was the infamous Hello Kitty z320i phone! It was priced at £99.99!! Which is similar to some of the other observations above. We drummed in the product code into the stock thingy and.. yep.. you guessed it – OUT OF STOCK. I’ve got a picture of the product in the catalogue. Will upload it tonight in the main post.

hmmm..ive got the new argos xmas book,only came out a few days ago an its in there for £99.99 but when u go to argos it doesnt actually exist..im going to call them tomorrow and if theres no vaild explanation im going to contact trading standards cos its illegal to advertise somethng you dont actually have!
I phoned Argos orderline a couple of days ago. Someone told me they were having trouble with the supplier & it could be available within 7 – 14 days.
But then, I phoned yesterday & somebody else said the phones are in & out quickly. So none are available.
Hmm… sounds like they are just saying whatever to cover there tracks. They shouldn’t advertise things, if not available. I have just sent another email too.
My daughter has set her heart on this phone & I hate to let her down. If I don’t get her this for Xmas, I don’t know what else I can buy her.
