Well hello there guys!

Long time no Blog!

With my Mum, Christmas and moving house I sadly have not been giving my Blog the full attention I should be giving it!

So I am back, and ready to keep you guys updated of my crazy life and trying to loose weight.

So on Monday 11th January my new diet starts (again)

I weigh a hefty 13 and half stone, and all I want is to get down to 10 and half stone to be a nice size UK  12 – 14!

So today I am trying the amazing Slimfast diet.

I wanted to do Lighterlife, the starvation diet which you live on 500kcals a day and you put your body into Ketosis to burn all that fat instead of those carbs!
Sadly at over £90 a week I can’t really afford to do that. And also I know people who have turned into monsters on the diet, well starving yourself would drive you crazy!

So the cheapest option is the lovely Slimfast, similar in the way you live on shakes and stuff, but different in a way you can get one proper meal a day, yes I said it right a PROPER MEAL.

So my breakfast and lunch has consisted of a banana Slimfast and plenty of fruit and low fat snacks.

The game plan is to have a shake and then a snack every two hours.

I have to admit I have felt light headed with a slight headache (a bit like i am drunk!) and quite tired.

But my first week has been good, I surprisingly felt full through the day, and only really hungry the last couple of hours before my dinner.

I did visit my doctor, on Wednesday who informed me that Slimfast is only ok to do for a few weeks, but I thought hey, if I am not bored and it keeps me feeling full why not give it the whole month!

So of course, I may of abandoned you for a while, but I am back on track to keep you updated with how this goes!

NOW – Cat News!!!!

Yes there would have to be something on my blog about cats!!!!

Hi Guys,

What a week, with my Birthday and work i have had hardly any time to get on here and tell you all about my fab Birthday meal on Monday at The taste of Oz at Ringland Norfolk.

What a meal! We have been there a few times, and as it was my birthday so i got to choose where we went and i really fancied some Ozzy delights.

The place is a bit far out from Norwich and a bit scary driving in the dark but it’s worth it. The place is brightly decorated with a huge Marlin floating above the restaurant.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, There was so much to choose it took us a while, and they didn’t mind waiting for us. (I hate staff who are pushy to get your order through as fast as they can.)

So to start with I had (get ready for this!) Deep fried Squid and Crocodile with chili dipping sauce, this was amazing and spicy. The crocodile was so wonderful, tender and succulent just like chicken!

The Fiancé had field mushrooms filled with garlic and crème fresh – i of course had a try and they were beautiful with the garlic.

For mains i pushed out the boat and had a big platter of different fish which included Marlin and John Dory, all grilled. They were all so mouth watering, it also came with these huge prawns! I also got chips and salad with it which was really hard going, but you will be pleased to know i only left a few chips and a bit of marlin.

The other half had Marlin with roasted new potato’s we both found the Marlin amazing in flavour but really hard work, its a gorgeous meaty fish but there is a whole lot of it on your plate!

So sadly with all that yummy fishy delights in out tums, the dessert was a no no, Mr Marlin really filled us up!

The wine of course is mostly all Ozzy and i had a lovely large glass of their rose – it was a perfect glass not too sweet. The love of my life had a Mock tail (ha, he had to drive. it was my birthday!) which was fresh and lush. (with a hint of Havana Club i would of been back in Cayo Guillermo in Cuba where we went on Holiday.)

So if your looking for a lovely night out, and a bit of a change with your food, head on down to the Taste of Oz - you wont be disappointed!

Hi Guys!

Well today has been another failed attempt of losing weight! I started off good.

Breakfast: bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with semi skimmed milk (see… v.v.v good)

Mid Morning snack: Chocolate cake and coffee (oopsy slipping slowly!!!)

Lunch: Lunch with my Pal at Pulse (a veggie restaurant at Norwich = good girl getting veg in! I could pull this back you see ;) sadly all the food I had was either deep fried or covered in cheese!) Yes we shared a big bowl of nachos and these weird pea and parmesan fritters. Damn I really have slipped!

Dinner: Healthy chicken breast with salad and small side of oven chips. This isn’t bad if all the other naughty stuff didn’t happen!

So as you see today hasn’t been the best for my diet, but at least I walked into the city and back! I get a tiny gold star for that! :)
